The Fluctuat Nec Mergitur café, located on place de la République, is a reflection of Paris’ joie de vivre, thirst for culture and need for celebration. Its friendly and festive atmosphere, its lovely and healthy food, and finally its numerous and diverse events, makes the Fluctuat café a symbol of “living together” and a tribute to the Parisian culture.
Enjoy fresh and popular recipes and homemade cooking renewed on a regular basis. Night and day, come and eat simple and tasty meals.
All day long, you may order snack food and tapas, and every Sunday a hearty brunch is available… Always at an affordable price! An expresso costs 1€, a beer 3€ at the counter; the special today costs 10.90€ and you can enjoy a pint with homemade French fries for 7.40€.
The traditional Parisian “ham and butter sandwich” is as simple as it is delicious: made from authentic Paris ham, prepared and cured by the last ham producer of the French capital, Doumbéa. For drinks, we serve organic wines made by small producers, and original cocktails such as the Rivolette or the Faubourgeois.
Not to mention the fresh beers, exclusively Parisian, and a selection of tea, coffee, and fruit juices mainly Organic or Fair Trade.
Whether you are neighbor, a Paris lover or a one-day tourist, you are warmly welcome at the Fluctuat café.
If you want to relax in the sun, order a coffee on the go or grab a bite, we guarantee a friendly and relaxing break at all hours.
According to GROUPE SOS’ values, the Fluctuat Café was designed for all. Installing specific equipments for disabled people was thus one of our priorities.
Meet us all year long, 7 days a week, from 7:30 AM to 2:00 AM.
